QUEENS, NY — Police are asking for the public’s help after a violent robbery left a 22-year-old man injured at a Queens bus stop late last month.

According to the NYPD, the incident happened on Sunday, December 28, 2025, around 7 p.m., near the intersection of 123 Street and College Point Boulevard, within the confines of the 109th Precinct.

Investigators say the victim was waiting at the bus stop when he was suddenly approached by a group of unidentified individuals, believed to be teenagers. Without warning, the group allegedly began punching the victim repeatedly in the head and body, using closed fists and possibly other unknown objects.

During the attack, police say the suspects forcibly stole the man’s necklace, wallet, and cellphone.

Suspects Fled on MTA Q26 Bus

After the robbery, the suspects fled the scene by boarding a Q26 MTA bus, police said. Surveillance footage later recovered from the bus is now a key part of the investigation.

The NYPD has released images of the suspects, which were obtained from the Q26 bus following the incident. The footage is being distributed by the Deputy Commissioner of Public Information (DCPI) in hopes that someone recognizes the individuals involved.

Victim Taken to Hospital With Head Injury

The victim suffered pain and bruising throughout his body, as well as a laceration to his head, according to police. Emergency medical services responded to the scene and transported him to New York-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was treated and listed in stable condition.

As the investigation continues, detectives are urging anyone with information about the robbery or the individuals shown in the released images to come forward.
