QUEENS - The NYPD is searching for a man suspected of stabbing at least four people in Queens in random attacks.


The NYPD took to social media to get the word out about the attacker. In a post on X, NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said the same man wanted for stabbing a woman in Queens is also responsible for three other random stabbings.


“The person shows in this @NYPDTips poster is wanted for 4 unprovoked stabbing incidents that occurred in the area of Rochdale Village recently but may have travelled to other parts of NYC. He may also be traveling via transit,” Kenny said in the post.


Investigators said the stabbing spree began around midnight on Jan 16. A 34-year-old woman was walking home in the vicinity of 158 Street & 134 Avenue. Cops said a man came from behind and then stabbed the woman on the right side of the torso.

MANHATTAN - A 10-year-old girl was raped by a man she met on an app, cops said.

The victim was rushed to an area hospital where she is listed in stable condition.


Two men were stabbed the following day. At around 7:30 am on January 17, a 74-year-old man and a 41-year-old man were standing in the vicinity of 161st Street and 134th Avenue in Springfield Gardens.


Cops said the suspect walked up to the men and stabbed the 74 year old in the abdomen. The 41 year old was stabbed in the back. 


Both men were transported to Jamaica Hospital where they are listed in stable condition.


No details were given regarding the fourth stabbing.
