QUEENS - Maybe they were starting their own cleaning service. Cops are searching for a trio of thieves who broke into an apartment complex and stole equipment and cleaning supplies valued near 2 Grand, cops said.

Cops said that at around 11 pm on March 21, the thieves gained access to the front door of the apartment complex in the vicinity of 35 Avenue and 88 Street  using a card. The crooks made a beeline for the boxes of cleaning supplies and the air compressor.

Cops said the value of the items taken is around $1,700.

The suspects were last seen heading on foot with the stolen items southbound on 35 Avenue.

The first suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion and thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, gray knit cap, black pants and black sneakers. He was also seen wearing a back pack.

The second suspect is described as a female with a dark complexion, short black hair and a medium build. She was last seen wearing a long, black winter coat, blue jeans and black sneakers.
