QUEENS - A subway rider was beaten about the head with a cellphone by a fellow straphanger during an arguement on the F Train, cops said.
At around 8 am on March 11, a 19-year-old man was standing on the northbound platform of the F Train at a Queens train station. Cops said the male got into a dispute with another young man on the platform which soon turned violent.
Suddenly, the suspect took the cellphone in his hand and started to use it to smash the victim in the face and head, cops said. The attacker repeatedly punched the victim with the cellphone and then hopped on a northbound F Train that pulled into the station.

EMS took the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Queens where he was treated for the bruising and swelling suffered as a result of the beating.
The NYPD released video of the suspect who is described as a male with a medium complexion. He is 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 10 feet tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, blue jeans, white sneakers, and a black backpack.
