QUEENS - An elderly man was slugged in the face coming off a Queens bus in what appears to be another random attack, cops said. 




At around 8:30 am on April 9, a 71-year-old man was exiting a Q64 bus on the corner of 108 Street and Queens Boulevard. Cops said an unknown man walked up to the elderly bus rider and started arguing with him.

Suddenly the belligerent man spat in the 71 year-old’s face and then punched him, cops said. The victim sustained bruising to the face and suffered a laceration under the left eye. He was take to New York Presbyterian Queens Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.





The attacker ran off towards the 71st Avenue train station. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect going through the subway turnstile. 



The suspected attacker is described as a male with a medium complexion who is between the ages of 30 and 40. He is 5 foot 6 and weighs 190 pounds. He has short black hair and was was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, brown boots, and a gray scarf.
