QUEENS - A 15-year-old boy was shot in the face while sitting in a a car in Queens. Cops said the teen was wounded, along with another man, when two gunmen opened fire on a parked car.
At around 7:30 pm on June 11, a 23-year-old male and a 15-year-old male were sitting in a Mercedes Benz parked on the corner of 183 Street and 143 Avenue in Springfield Gardens. Cops said two men walked up behind the Mercedes, pulled out guns and opened fire.
A bullet struck the teen in the face. The 23-year-old suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.
After firing multiple rounds, the gunmen ran off.
The 15 year old was rushed to Cohen Children’s Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition. The 23 year old was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Law enforcement released surveillance video. The first suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing a black and white baseball cap, white t-shirt, light blue jeans, and red and black Nike Jordan sneakers.
The second suspect is described as a male with a medium complexion. He was last seen wearing red and white Nike Jordan sneakers, green and white tie-dye shorts, olive green t-shirt and a white t-shirt covering his face.
