Knife-Wielding Thief Robs Women Inside Their Homes

QUEENS - Cops are looking for a brazen burglar who terrorized women inside their apartments. The man robbed two women, including a 76–year-old at Knifepoint.




The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect wanted for a pair of early morning burglaries in Sunnyside, Queens.


The first robbery happened at around 11 am on July 18 inside an apartment building at 56th Street and Queens Boulevard. Cops said the man forced his way into a 21-year-old woman’s apartment while she was home.



The man displayed a knife and demanded cash and a cellphone, cops said. The victim handed over the items and the robber left without incident.


Four days later, cops said, the same man struck against in an apartment building a short distance from the first robbery.


At around 10 am on July 22, the man forced his way into an apartment inside a building in the vicinity of 42nd Street and Skillman Avenue. Cops said inside the apartment the robber encountered the 76-year-old female tenant. 



However, cops said the robber  left the apartment empty handed through an open window.


The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect. He is described as a male with a dark complexion and thin build. He was last seen wearing ripped blue jeans and black sneakers. He also wore a black shirt with the words “Kenneth Cole” printed across the chest.
