NYPD Seeks Public’s Help Identifying Teens Wanted in Robbery at 74 Street–Roosevelt Avenue Subway Station

According to police, the incident occurred on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at approximately 4:00 p.m., on the northbound platform of the 74 Street–Roosevelt Avenue subway station, located within the confines of the 115 Precinct and Transit District 20.
Investigators say the teenage victim was standing on the platform when he was approached by five unidentified individuals, all believed to be between 16 and 18 years old. Acting together, the group allegedly made a statement to the victim before punching him in the face and forcibly removing the hood from his pricey Moose Knuckles jacket.
The victim sustained facial injuries during the robbery but refused medical attention at the scene, police said.
After the attack, the individuals fled on foot further into the subway station. Authorities confirmed that one suspect has been arrested, while four others remain at large.
The NYPD released descriptions of the remaining suspects and is urging anyone with information to come forward.
The first suspect is described as a male, approximately 16 to 18 years old, with a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a green winter hat and a black jacket.
The second suspect is a male, approximately 16 to 18 years old, with a light complexion, last seen wearing a black jacket. The third suspect is a male, approximately 16 to 18 years old, with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black winter hat, black jacket, red hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
The fourth sought suspect is a male, approximately 16 to 18 years old, with a light complexion, last seen wearing a black hat, black jacket, and prescription eyeglasses.
