Street Argument Leads to Man Slashed in the Neck

Authorities say the incident involved a 29-year-old man who was slashed in the neck following a verbal dispute on Sunday night.
According to police, the assault was reported on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at approximately 9:10 p.m. in front of 146-49 101 Avenue in Queens.
Investigators state that an unidentified male engaged in a verbal dispute with the victim before allegedly slashing him in the neck. The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
Emergency Medical Services transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition.
This incident is being investigated as a slashing incident in front of 146-49 101 Avenue in Queens.
Police have released the following description of the suspect involved in the NYPD 103rd Precinct assault investigation in Jamaica Queens. The suspect is a male with a light complexion and medium build. He is approximately 30 years old, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with brown hair and a brown beard.
