‘Scarface’ Sucker Punches Senior

QUEENS, NY - An 88-year-old man was slugged in the face by a man sporting a “Scarface” t-shirt in what cops are calling a random attack.
According to authorities, the incident is being described as a violent unprovoked assault on an elderly man in Queens New York, and it happened in broad daylight in a busy neighborhood.
Police say the attack took place on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at approximately 1:30 p.m., near 148 Street and Jamaica Avenue. The victim, an 88-year-old man, was simply walking in the area when he was suddenly approached by an unknown individual. Without warning, the suspect allegedly punched the man directly in the face.
The force of the blow caused the elderly victim to fall to the ground. Emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, and the man was transported to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. He was listed in stable condition, but the incident has raised serious concerns about elderly safety and random street attacks in Queens neighborhoods.
The suspect fled immediately after the attack, heading eastbound on Jamaica Avenue. As of now, he remains unidentified.
Police have released a description, noting the individual was last seen wearing a black jacket, black sweatshirt, gray jeans, and red sneakers.
Investigators also noted that he was wearing a “Scarface” T-shirt, which may help in identifying him.
