Teen Slashed in the Face During Subway Arguement

QUEENS, NY - Cops are looking for the attacker who slashed a teen across the face with pocketknife at a Queens subway station.
According to police, the incident happened on Sunday, April 19, 2026, at around 4:50 p.m. inside the mezzanine area of the Parsons Boulevard subway station. Investigators say a 14-year-old boy was approached by an unknown individual, and the encounter quickly escalated into a dispute and then a physical attack.
Authorities report that during the confrontation, the suspect pulled out a pocketknife and slashed the teen across the face before fleeing the station on foot. The individual reportedly ran topside and disappeared in an unknown direction.
Emergency responders arrived shortly after the attack. The victim was transported by EMS to Long Island Jewish Medical Center, where he was listed in stable condition following the teen hospitalized after subway knife attack in Queens.
The case is being investigated within the confines of the 107 Precinct and Transit District 20. As of now, no arrests have been made, and the suspect remains at large.
Police have released media showing the individual they are trying to identify and are urging anyone who may recognize the suspect—or who may have witnessed the incident—to come forward, especially those who may have seen the suspect wanted for assault in Queens subway station mezzanine.
