QUEENS, NY - His clothes during the robberies may have been designer made but his getaway vehicle was a little bit broke. Cops are looking for a bike riding gunman who stuck up at least 6 businesses in Queens.

The NYPD is asking for the public’s help as detectives investigate a troubling pattern of armed robberies in Queens’ 106 Precinct in March and April 2026. Authorities say at least six incidents—ranging from attempted robberies to violent thefts at gunpoint—appear to be connected.

Police have released surveillance media of the suspects and are urging anyone with information to come forward as the NYPD investigates multiple armed robberies involving firearm suspects in South Richmond Hill and surrounding areas.

According to investigators, the incidents share similar characteristics: suspects displaying firearms, targeting both individuals and businesses, and fleeing quickly—often on foot or by bicycle.

The pattern began in late March and escalated into early April, raising concerns about late-night armed robbery incidents in Queens commercial corridors and residential streets.

The first reported case occurred on March 21, 2026, around 12:32 a.m., when a suspect entered a business on Liberty Avenue and demanded money at gunpoint. No cash was taken, and the individual fled on a bicycle.

Just one week later, on March 28, another armed robbery took place at a business on Lefferts Boulevard. This time, the suspect made off with $3,500 before fleeing northbound, again using a bicycle.

By early April, the pattern intensified, with multiple victims targeted in separate incidents:

  • April 4, 2026: A 55-year-old man was robbed of his necklace at gunpoint near Liberty Avenue. The suspect fled southbound. The victim declined medical attention.

  • April 5, 2026: Two suspects robbed a deli employee of $400 at gunpoint on 111 Avenue before escaping northbound.

  • April 6, 2026: A 40-year-old man riding a two-wheeled vehicle was approached by two suspects who stole the vehicle at gunpoint and fled southbound.

  • April 7, 2026: In the most recent incident, two individuals entered a deli on Rockaway Boulevard and stole $2,000 from a 22-year-old employee before fleeing.

Across all cases, police note that no serious injuries were reported in these Queens armed robbery incidents involving multiple suspects, but the repeated use of firearms has heightened concern.

Authorities describe the primary suspect as a male with a dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a designer black buble jacket, black pants, a black ski mask with the Nike logo, and white sneakers. In several of the later incidents, the suspect may have been accompanied by additional individuals.

Detectives believe these crimes are connected and are actively working to identify those responsible in what they describe as an ongoing NYPD investigation into a robbery pattern involving armed suspects in Queens.

Residents and business owners in the area are being urged to remain vigilant, especially during late-night and early-morning hours. The incidents have largely occurred during overnight times, contributing to concerns about public safety in Queens neighborhoods affected by repeated armed robberies in April 2026.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
