63-Year-Old Man Pushed Onto Tracks at Queens Subway Station, Police Say

QUEENS, NY — Cops are looking for the man who pushed a 63-year-old onto the subway tracks at a Queens station.
According to police, the incident occurred on May 31, 2026, at approximately 5:30 a.m. on the southbound platform of the F train at the Parsons Boulevard station within the confines of the 107th Precinct and Transit District 20.
Investigators say the victim, a 63-year-old man, was sitting on the platform when he was approached by an unidentified male. During the encounter, the suspect allegedly pushed the victim onto the southbound tracks before fleeing the scene on foot.
Authorities reported that the victim sustained a minor laceration to his head and nose, along with bruising to his arms. Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene and transported the injured man to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center.
Police said the victim was listed in stable condition following the incident.
The circumstances leading up to the confrontation remain under investigation, and detectives are working to determine a motive.
The individual sought for questioning is described as a male with a medium complexion. He is approximately 35 to 45 years old and about 5 feet 4 inches tall. He is approximately 170 pounds with a medium build and light-colored facial hair.
Police said the suspect was last seen wearing a blue sweater, red pants, a black-and-gray winter hat, and a blue face mask positioned under his chin.
The incident adds to ongoing concerns surrounding safety in New York City's transit system. Detectives continue to review evidence and are asking members of the public to assist in identifying the suspect.
