NYPD Searching for Gunman in Fatal Queens Shooting 
The NYPD is looking for Tyrell Dennis in connection with a fatal shooting in Far Rockaway.

A Queens man was gunned down outside his Far Rockaway apartment. Now the NYPD is asking for the public’s help in trying to catch the gunman. 

The NYPD released a photo of a man wanted for questioning in Saturday’s fatal shooting. Police are looking for 31-year-old Tyrell Dennis in connection with the murder of 35-year-old Eric Thomas. 

Cops in Far Rockaway responded to a 911 call at around 6:34 am on August 1. When the officers arrived at 22-30 Dix Avenue, they found Thomas lying in the doorway of his first floor apartment with a gunshot wound to the torso. 

Investigators would not comment on a motive for the fatal shooting.
