QUEENS - A knife-wielding thief pushed his way into a 92-year-old woman’s home in Queens and then robbed her, the NYPD said. 


At around 11 am on January 3, a young man knocked on the door to an elderly woman’s home in the vicinity of 231 Street and 64 Avenue. The 92-year-old woman opened the door and engaged in a conversation with the man. 


Suddenly the man pushed his way inside and displayed a knife to the elderly victim, cops said. The man took the victim’s wallet which contained credit cards and $100 cash before fleeing, cops said. 


The victim suffered only minor injuries but refused medical attention at the scene.


The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect who is described as a male with a medium complexion and medium build and is 5 foot 10.
