NEW YORK - A Queens home owner was pistol whipped by a pair of home invaders who stole a safe full of jewelry valued at $90,000, cops said.
At around 12:40 am on October 19, a home owner woke to hear men breaking into his house in the vicinity of 243 Street & 140th Avenue near JFK Airport.

Clerk Shot When Robbers Fired Assault Rifle into Store
BRONX - A store clerk was shot in the arm by a robber who carried an assault rifle, cops said.
Cops said one of the invaders held a rifle and struck him multiple times with the butt of the weapon. The beating caused several lacerations on the man’s head.
Cops said the other invader went into the bedroom and removed a safe. The two attackers then walked out of the house and hopped into a white Jeep.
Cops said the safe contained several pieces of jewelry valued at $90,000.
The victim was taken to Franklin Medical Center in Nassau County where he was listed in stable condition.
Police released surveillance video of the two suspects. The first of the alleged home invaders is a male with a dark complexion and a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, and black sneakers.
The second suspect is described as a male with dark complexion, heavy build. He was last seen wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, black mask, black pants, and black sneakers.
