QUEENS - Cops arrested a Queens man in the random attack on a 65-year-old man in Flushing. 


The NYPD has announced the arrest of 39-year-old Augusto Pacheco of Frankin Avenue. Pacheco has been charged with second degree assault in the unprovoked attack on a senior. 


At around 9:45 am on January 12, a 65-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of Franklin Avenue and Union Street. Cops said a man in a bright orange hoodie and sunglasses walked up to him and punched the senior in the face, causing the man to fall to the ground. 


The suspect ran off but not before his image was captured on street surveillance video. The victim was treated at New York- Presbyterian Queens Hospital.
