QUEENS- Cops are searching for a mugger who beat and robbed two women within 30 minutes of each other - one victim was 71 years old, the NYPD announced. 



Investigators said the same man attacked two women in separate incidents near Bayside Cemetery. The first attack was around 8:25 pm on March 7. A 71-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of 105-44 86 Street when a man ran up behind her. 


Cops said the man placed the woman in a chokehold and threw her to the ground. As she lay helpless, the attacker punched her in the face. The man then removed the victim’s purse and ran off, cops said.

MANHATTAN - Cops are looking for the man who groped a teenage girl as she rode a bus home from school in Upper Manhattan, the NYPD announced.

Twenty minutes later another woman was attacked. A 51-year-old woman was walking in the vicinity of 97-15 87 Street. A man ran up to the victim and pushed her to the ground, cops said. As the victim lay on the sidewalk, the mugger forcibly removed her property before running away.

Cops said suddenly a woman climbed into the passenger seat and began attacking the driver.  The woman repeatedly punched the driver in the face and throughout the body, cops said. She then bit him in the back and pushed the driver out of the car.  The attacker then got behind the wheel of the Uber and drove off.  However, the would be carjacker did not get far. Gunmen Stick Up Ball Player The NYPD is searching for a pair of thieves who robbed a Queens man at gunpoint on a basketball court. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice October 3, 2024 QUEENS - Cops are looking for a pair of moped riding thieves who stuck up a Queens man at gunpoint on the basketball court. At around noon on September 25, a 25-year-old male was playing on the basketball court at London Planetree Playground on Atlantic in Woodhaven. Cops said the moped rode up on the basketball court and the passenger pulled a gun on the ball player. The robber then ripped two chains off the victim’s neck and had him hand over $100 in cash. The pair of robbers then rode off northbound on 89 Street. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects who were seen riding a blue moped.  The suspects are two males with medium complexions and thin builds. Both wore paper face masks and hoodies.
