QUEENS - Cops are looking for a pair of muggers who robbed women in Queens at knifepoint and by assaulting their victim within a half hour, the NYPD said.
The NYPD has linked the two suspects to two robberies in Queens. The first robbery took place at around 4 am on March 1. A 34-year-old woman was walking on 41-14 69 street in Woodside. Cops said a man ran up behind her and put a hard object against her lower back.
Then a second man ran up to her displaying a knife. He removed the victim’s handbag and then both suspects ran off.
Less than a half hour later cops said the same suspects robbed a second woman.
A 58-year-old woman was walking in front of 42-20 Hampton Street. Cops said the robbers ran up behind the woman and pushed her to the ground. They then grabbed her handbag and ran off.
