QUEENS - Cops nabbed two teens out of a trio who robbed a 66-year-old Queens man at knifepoint.
The NYPD announced the arrest of a 17-year-old male on three counts of robbery. They also arrested 18-year-old Jay-R Parmachand of Queens. He was charged with three counts of robbery. Police did not disclose the name of the 17-year-old because he is a minor.
A third suspect is still wanted by police. Investigators are hoping the released surveillance video will lead to his arrest as it did his alleged accomplices.
At around 4 am on March 29, a 66-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of 134 Street and Grand Central Parkway service road in Briarwood. Three males ran up to him and displayed a knife demanding money.
Cops said the robbers removed the victim’s shoulder bag and fled on foot. Investigators released surveillance video taken from a local bodega.
The images led to the arrest of two of the three suspects.
