QUEENS - If you can’t trust a man you met on social media with $30,000 who can you trust? Cops said a Queens woman was assaulted by a man who wanted her to “exchange” $30K through online bank accounts. But then reneged on the deal and assaulted her.

The details of the assault are sketchy but the NYPD has info and video of the suspect.

At around noon on April 23, a 23-year-old woman had arranged to meet a man in front of Flushing bank at 37-01 138 Street. The victim told investigators that she went there to “exchange currency.”

The plan was for the man to hand over $30,000 in cash to the woman and she was to “transfer money online to bank accounts.”

Cops said as the two discussed the plan, the man with the cash became angry with her. He then removed the $30,000 from the victim’s bag and pushed the victim. He then walked off.

The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion and a medium build. He is between teh ages of 20 and 40 and was last seen wear a black sweatshirt.
