Queens Local News: Teen Punched MTA Bus Driver at Queens Shopping Center

VIDEO: NYPD Looking for Teen Suspect in Assault on Bus Driver

QUEENS LOCAL NEWS - The NYPD has released surveillance video in the hope of catching a teen suspected of punching an MTA bus driver in the face at a Queens shopping center


At around 6:30 pm on November 17, cops said the teen got into an argument with the 47-year-old bus driver while the bus was at a stop at 80-00 Cooper Avenue inside a Queens shopping center. 


Cops said the arguement turned heated and the teen punched the driver in the face. The teen then jumped off the bus and ran away. 


EMS arrived shortly after and transported the injured driver to Long Island Jewish Forest Hills / Northwell Health.


The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, about 16 to 18 years old, roughly 5 foot 8, with a slim build and brown eyes. 


At the time of the incident, he was last seen wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt, gray sweatpants, and light-colored shoes.
