Police are searching for two suspects after a late-night robbery on Thurston Street where a 30-year-old man was pushed to the ground and robbed

QUEENS LOCAL NEWS - Police are searching for two unidentified suspects following a late-night robbery on Thurston Street that occurred on Saturday, November 22, 2025, according to authorities.


The incident happened at approximately 7:45 p.m. in front of 137-41 Thurston Street, where a 30-year-old man was reportedly standing when he was suddenly approached from behind by two individuals. Investigators say the suspects pushed the victim to the ground and forcibly stole his wallet, which contained debit cards, personal identification, and approximately $20 in cash.


During the robbery, the suspects also took the victim’s cell phone, though police later recovered the device near the scene. Authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.


Suspects Fled Northbound on Foot


After the robbery, both suspects allegedly fled on foot northbound on Thurston Street, heading toward an unknown location. Police have not released information about any arrests and say the suspects remain at large.


Detailed Suspect Descriptions Released


Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying the two individuals involved. Both suspects are described as males with dark complexions, last seen wearing the following clothing:


  • Suspect One was wearing a black jacket, black sweater, blue pants, black face mask, and black sneakers.


  • Suspect Two was wearing a black sweater with blue and red lettering, black pants, a blue face mask, and gray sneakers.
