Teen Attacked, Threatened with Knife for his Shoes

QUEENS, NY - A neighborhood in Queens is on edge after a 15-year-old boy was attacked, robbed, and threatened with a knife during a midday encounter.
According to authorities, the incident happened around 2:20 p.m. at the 45 Road–Court House Square 7 train station assault incident, when four unidentified individuals approached the teenager while he was at the station.
The situation escalated quickly into violence.
Witness accounts and initial reports indicate that one of the suspects forcibly grabbed the victim’s phone. Moments later, the group began punching the teen repeatedly in the head and body area.
Police say the attack became more serious when one of the suspects displayed a knife and demanded the victim’s shoes.
Despite the threat, the victim did not remove his shoes.
The suspects then fled the scene together, boarding a Queens-bound 7 train.
Emergency responders were not required to transport the victim to a hospital. He sustained minor injuries but was reported to be in stable condition following the attack.
Authorities are continuing to search for the suspects involved in the four unidentified suspects assault and robbery of teen at NYC subway station, and are reviewing surveillance footage from the station and nearby transit cameras.
The incident adds to ongoing concerns about safety in transit environments, particularly involving youth commuters and after-school travel periods in New York City.
