Teen Robbed of $2,300 Chain by Suspects on E-Bike in Jackson Heights

JACKSON HEIGHTS, Queens — Police are searching for two suspects after a 17-year-old girl was robbed of a gold chain worth about $2,300 while walking along Northern Boulevard last week.

According to the NYPD, the robbery happened on July 20, 2026, at approximately 6:50 p.m. in front of 78-15 Northern Boulevard.

Investigators said the teenage victim was walking when two unidentified individuals approached her on an e-bike. One of the suspects allegedly reached out and snatched the chain from around her neck before the pair sped away.

The suspects fled northbound on 79th Street, police said.

Despite the brazen theft, the victim was not injured during the incident.

The NYPD has released surveillance images of the two individuals wanted for questioning in connection with the robbery.
