Mugger Puts Woman in Headlock on Subway
Attacks, Robs Straphanger on M Train - Cops Say

QUEENS - Cops are looking for a mugger who placed a woman in a headlock and robbed her inside a Queens subway station in Elmhurst.
Police released surveillance video of a suspect in the violent assault. The footage was taken of the suspect leaving the subway station.
At around 11 am on June 26, a 24-year-old woman was waiting for an M Train at the Elmhurst Avenue subway station. Cops said a man walked up behind the female straphanger and through her head into a headlock.
With the woman immobilized, the attacker removed her cell phone and calmly walked out of the subway station, cops said.
The suspect is described as a male between the ages of 25 and 30 years of age with a medium complexion and thin build. He is 5 foot 11 and weighs around 170 pounds.
The suspect has a mustache and goatee. He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt and light colored blue jeans. He also was seen wearing white and blue sneakers. The suspect is seen on the video apparently zipping up a black vest or short jacket over his t-shirt.
