QUEENS LOCAL NEWS - Cops are searching for the grown man who sucker punched a teenage girl as she was walking down the street in Fresh Meadows.

Cops are investigating an apparently random attack that took place on November 26. At around 11 am, a 14-year-old girl was walking near 184th Street and the Horace Harding Expressway when an unknown man approached her. Without warning, he punched the girl in the face and then took off, running westbound along the expressway.

Cops say the teen suffered only minor injuries and did not need to be hospitalized, but the sudden and unprovoked nature of the attack has prompted a full investigation.

The suspect is described as a male who was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, a blue jacket, gray pants, and gray sneakers. The NYPD is asking anyone who recognizes the man—or who may have been nearby around that time—to come forward.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website at https://crimestoppers.nypdonline.org/, on X @
