QUEENS - A KFC loving crook strong armed his way into robbing the cash register at a chicken joint in Woodhaven. 


At around 6:30 pm on February 24, the suspect walked into the KFC at 87-19 Jamaica Avenue. Cops said the man approached the 26-year-old female employee at the counter. Without warning he reached over, grabbed and twisted the worker’s arm demanding cash. The cashier handed over $617 that was on top of the register. 


Cops said with cash in hand the crook let go and ran out of the store and fled north on 88 Street. 


The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect. He is described as a male with a dark complexion and slim build. He is 6 foot 2. He was last seen wearing a beige sweat suit, a purple sneaker, and glasses.
