QUEENS - Six students were slashed, one allegedly in the face, inside a Queens charter school, published reports state. Police have so far arrested five students.
Multiple officers arrived in front of the school at 89-25 161 Street at around 12:45 pm today. According to published reports, six students were slashed - at least two were slashed in the hands and another in the face.
According to early reports, a teacher took a knife off a student during the melee.
Citizen video shows cops taking several students into custody.
Police are also conducting a city-wide search for any remaining suspects associated with the attack. Cops said they alerted all hospitals to report any teens walking into the hospitals with slash wounds.
