QUEENS - Cops are looking for a trio of baby-faced hoodlums who beat a 60-year-old man during a mugging and robbed another man sitting in his car using a gun and an ice pick all within less than two hours. Cops said the robbers used the victims’ credit cards to buy a case of beer and items from a smoke shop.

The NYPD released video taken from inside a store where, cops say, the trio used the stolen credit cards to buy items. Investigators say the young crooks are responsible for two violent robberies in Queens.

At around 4:15 am on March 24, a 62-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of 106 Street and 34 Avenue. Cops said one of the crew ran up to the man and threw him to the ground. The attacker then began to punch and kick the victim laying on the sidewalk.

Cops said the attacker removed the victim’s property including a wallet and hopped into a waiting  vehicle which then sped away.

An hour and a half later the same crew struck again. A 38-year-old man was sitting in his car parked in front of 49-04 111 Street in Corona.

Cops said the first suspect entered the car on the passenger side and displayed an ice pick. A second robber walked up to the driver’s side and displayed a gun.

The robber with the ice pick removed the victim’s cellphone, wallet and jewelry. The robbers then ran off.

Cops said the items are valued at $3,000.

Cops said investigation revealed that the first victim’s credit card was used to purchase a case of beer at a Brooklyn convenience store.

Investigators said the second victim’s credit cards were used at a smoke shop in Brooklyn.
