QUEENS - Cops are looking for a trio of laughing bandits who were caught on surveillance video running away from the scene of a mugging laughing while allegedly carrying the victim’s stolen clothes. 



At around 4:30 am on September 22, a 26-year-old male had got into a conversation with three other males in the vicinity of 37th Avenue and 102nd Street in North Corona. 


According to police, the victim and two of the men walked south on 102nd Street together. Then the two men began repeatedly punching the victim throughout the body. The attackers removed the victim’s cellphone, cash, jewelry and clothes including his sneakers. 



Surveillance video shows one of the two suspects running back laughing while holding clothes and sneakers. Cops said the trio of robbers then piled into a sedan and drove off eastbound on 37th Avenue. 


EMS transported the victim to Elmhurst Hospital where he was listed in stable condition.

Moped Riding Muggers Stickup Basketball Court

Gunmen Stick Up Ball Player The NYPD is searching for a pair of thieves who robbed a Queens man at gunpoint on a basketball court. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice October 3, 2024 QUEENS - Cops are looking for a pair of moped riding thieves who stuck up a Queens man at gunpoint on the basketball court. At around noon on September 25, a 25-year-old male was playing on the basketball court at London Planetree Playground on Atlantic in Woodhaven. Cops said the moped rode up on the basketball court and the passenger pulled a gun on the ball player. The robber then ripped two chains off the victim’s neck and had him hand over $100 in cash. The pair of robbers then rode off northbound on 89 Street. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspects who were seen riding a blue moped.  The suspects are two males with medium complexions and thin builds. Both wore paper face masks and hoodies. Cops said a man walked up to her on the street and grabbed her breast.  The groper then ran north on Northern Boulevard.   The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect which was captured in front of the construction site.  The attack occurred in front of a $220 million high-rise condo development which is set to be completed in June 2025.  The suspect is described as an older male with a medium complexion.
