What Happened in the October Assault?
Around 4:14 am on the morning of October 19, 2025, the victim—a 54-year-old woman—was walking in the vicinity of 37th Avenue and 37th Street when two unknown individuals approached her. Without warning, the suspects, a male and a female, began to assault the woman. They punched her multiple times with closed fists, causing her to fall to the ground, hitting her head during the fall.
The brutal attack left the victim severely injured. She was immediately rushed to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst, where she was listed in critical condition.
The two assailants, however, fled the scene on foot and are currently at large.
Who Are the Suspects in the Queens Assault?
The NYPD is now working to identify the suspects involved in this violent incident. Based on eyewitness descriptions, here’s what authorities have shared about the two individuals:
The first suspect is a female between the ages of 18 and 30. She has a medium build, dark complexion and black hair. She was last seen wearing a brown sweater, striped shorts, and black-and-white sneakers.
The second suspect is a male between the ages of 18 and 30. He has a medium build, dark complexion and black hair. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black t-shirt with white flower stripes.
