NYPD is searching for four suspects after a $30,000 grand larceny at Sunglass Hut inside Queens Center Mall in Elmhurst, Queens

Police say the incident occurred on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at approximately 10:10 a.m., when four unidentified individuals entered a Sunglass Hut store located at 90-15 Queens Boulevard. Investigators report that the suspects removed a large quantity of merchandise — valued at approximately $30,000 — before fleeing the store on foot.
According to NYPD officials, the four suspects acted together while inside the store. After allegedly removing the merchandise, the individuals exited the location and fled in an unknown direction. No weapons were reported, and no injuries occurred during the incident.
The crime took place inside Queens Center Mall, a busy shopping destination in the Elmhurst section of Queens, making the investigation a priority for detectives due to the volume of foot traffic typically present in the area.
