QUEENS, NY - A man slashed a worker’s neck inside a Queens store and police are asking for the public’s help in trying to catch him.


The NYPD is asking for the public’s help identifying a man wanted in connection with a violent assault that took place inside a Queens commercial establishment early Saturday morning. According to police, the incident occurred on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at approximately 4:47 a.m., within the confines of the 115th Precinct.





Police say a 26-year-old man was involved in a verbal dispute with an unidentified individual inside a commercial establishment located at 37-13 103 Street in Queens. What began as an argument quickly escalated into a physical altercation.


During the confrontation, authorities say the suspect slashed the victim in the neck with an unknown sharp object, causing a serious injury. After the attack, the suspect fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.


The victim was treated by EMS at the scene before being transported to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens, where he was listed in stable condition.


Investigators describe the suspect as a male with a medium complexion and long curly hair. He last seen wearing a black and blue jacket and a black T-shirt.





The NYPD is actively investigating this early morning assault in Queens, and detectives are working to determine what led to the dispute and subsequent stabbing.


Violent incidents occurring inside businesses during overnight hours raise ongoing concerns about late-night safety in Queens commercial corridors, particularly within the 115th Precinct.


Authorities have not announced any arrests at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.
