Knife Attack on Bell Boulevard Leaves 30-Year-Old Injured in Bayside

BAYSIDE, QUEENS — Police are searching for two suspects after a 30-year-old man was slashed during an early morning confrontation in Bayside.
According to investigators, the attack happened at approximately 12:40 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, outside 39-26 Bell Boulevard.
Police said the victim was walking when two unidentified men riding a scooter approached him from behind. The encounter quickly escalated into a verbal dispute.
During the confrontation, one of the suspects allegedly pulled out a knife and slashed the victim's right hand, causing a laceration.
Emergency medical crews responded to the scene and transported the victim to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
After the attack, both suspects fled northbound on Bell Boulevard on the scooter. Their identities remain unknown, and no arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
