Teen Scooter Riding Robber Threatens Subway Passenger with Knife

QUEENS - Cops are looking for a teenage robber who rode a scooter through a subway station and threatened a straphanger with a knife.



At around 10:30 pm on September 7, a 44-year-old woman exited an “E” Train at the Elmhurst Avenue Station. As she walked the platform, a teen on a scooter rode up to her and asked if he could use her cell phone. The woman refused and kept walking.

QUEENS - Cops are looking for a slipper wearing attacker who sucker punched a man who escorted him out of a mosque. The victim was knocked out cold with one punch.

Cops said at the mezzanine the scooter rider rode up to her again, pulled out a butter knife and demanded her cellphone.


The woman screamed for help, scaring the crook off. He rode off on his scooter.




Police released surveillance video of the suspect seen riding the scooter on the train platform. Cops said the suspect is a teenager, who is 5 foot 10 and 100 pounds. He has a dark complexion, thin build and short black hair.



He was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, dark blue pants and white sneakers.
