QUEENS - The NYPD released dramatic video of a gunman opening fire on a Queens street during a double shooting. One of the victims died and the other is recovering as police search for the gunman.
The NYPD released surveillance video which shows a man running backwards down a block while firing multiple rounds from a handgun. Cops said two men were shot in the torso from the hail of bullets.
Police have identified 32-year-old Jaime Robinson as the victim who died from his wounds.
At around 5 am yesterday, police responded to multiple 911 calls to the intersection of 199 Street and Hollis Avenue in Hollis, Queens. Upon arrival cops observed two men with gunshot wounds to their torsos.

One of the victims, Robinson, was taken to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The other victim, age 31, was taken to North Shore University Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
The suspect has been described as a male with a dark complexion and slim build. He is six feet tall. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers.
