QUEENS LOCAL NEWS - A Queens mugger had an interesting demand of his victim when he held a knife to the man: give me food. Cops are looking for a man, they say, robbed a man of food at knife point.

At around noon on November 22, a 50-year-old man was approached by a stranger while walking near Rockaway Boulevard and Digby Place. The man came up to him and pulled out knife. Then the robber demanded food.

Without hesitation, the stranger took food from a nearby box and fled the scene, heading southbound on Digby Place. Cops said the mugger only made off with food and no money or other possessions from the victim.

The suspect is described as a male, last seen wearing a black baseball cap, a dark gray hooded jacket, black jeans, and black sneakers. While the police have not provided further details about his age or race, they’re hoping someone might recognize the outfit or the description from nearby surveillance footage.
