Burglar Makes Off with $100,000 in Jewelry from Queens Mall
Subscribe in a reader By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice January 5, 2021 A burglar who broke into a shuttered store in a Queens mall made off with $100,000 worth of jewelry, the NYPD says. Police released surveillance video of the suspect taken from the parking lot of the Queens Center Mall. In the video the man is seen wearing a mask and gloves and appears to be carrying a bag as he leaves on foot. At around 10:15 pm on December 28, a burglar forced his way through a secured door into the closed Zales Jewelry in the mall. Investigators say the man took $100,000 worth of jewelry and then fled the mall on foot.
