Gunman Menaces Straphangers on Queens Subway Platform  The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a menacing with a gun inside a Queens subway station. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice January 31, 2024 QUEENS - A man with a gun terrorized straphangers inside a Queens train station when he posed as if he was going to shoot riders during rush hour, the NYPD said.  At around 5 pm on January 23, a man covered with a face mask and hoodie, exited an E train at the Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenue Station. Cops said the man then pulled out a handgun and “stood in shooting stance on the train platform causing public alarm.”  No shots were fired and the gunman ran off in an unknown direction.  The suspect was caught on surveillance cameras coming out of the subway car. Serial Grocery Store Gunmen Rob 4 Sites in Queens The NYPD is searching for four men who stuck up four grocery stores throughout Queens. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice January 30, 2024 QUEENS - The NYPD is searching for a Queens robbery crew that stuck up four grocery stores and also stole a man’s car at gunpoint.  Investigators said the same crew of four males has struck four different grocery stores doing back to December 30, 2024. In each case the crew of four entered a store and displayed handguns. They demanded cash and forced the store worker to hand over the money from the register.  Cops said the crew stuck up grocery stores in Queens Village, Douglaston and Woodhaven.

Home Invaders Bound Man, Steal Cash The NYPD is searching for three men in connection with a home invasion near a Yeshiva in Queens. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice January 29, 2024 QUEENS - Home invaders bound and robbed a man in his own home across the street from a Yeshiva, the NYPD said.  At around 11:30 pm on January 24, a 36-year-old man was about to enter his home in the vicinity of  78 Avenue and Parsons Boulevard. Three men ran up behind him and displayed handguns. They pushed the victim inside and taped up his hands, cops said. The crew then removed the man’s wallet before leaving the home and hopping into a gray four-door sedan.  Cops said the victim’s wallet contained credits cards and $300 in cash.  The car was last seen fleeing westbound on 78 Avenue.  The NYPD released surveillance video. Pickup Driving Gunman Robs Liquor Store

Liquor Store Robbed at Gunpoint The NYPD is searching for this man in conection with an armed robbery of a liquor store. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice January 25, 2024 QUEENS - A pick up driving gunman robbed a liquor store in South Ozone Park, cops said. At around 3 pm on January 18, a man walked into a liquor store on Rockaway Boulevard. Cops said the man pulled out a handgun and demanded cash.  Workers handed over $1,500 in cash and the gunman ran out. Cops said the suspect jumped into a Ford pickup and drove off eastbound on Sutter Avenue. Police are looking for this Ford pickup truck allgedly used in a liquor store stickup. -Photo by NYPD The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect and the getaway vehicle. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion who is between the ages of 30 and 40. BMW Riding Crooks Rip Off Smoke Shop

Low-Profile Robbers Drove Luxury BMW The NYPD is searching for this BMW in connection with the burglary of a smoke shop in Queens. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice January 25, 2024 QUEENS - A pair of smoke shop thieves may have thought they would attract little attention with their clothing but then drove a pretty conspicuous getaway car - an $80,000 plus luxury SUV, the NYPD said.  At around 4:40 am on January 14, two men broke into a smoke shop on Jamaica Avenue. Cops said the crooks took $8,000 worth of merchandise.   The suspects images were captured on a street surveillance camera outside the store. The alleged crooks wore black hoodies, sweatpants and balaclavas which would not attract attention on a cold January morning.  However, the pair were caught on camera driving away in an $80,000 plus silver BMW X 7 SUV, which was parked under a street light right in front of the surveillance camera. Elmhurst Man Stabbed, Robbed  The NYPD is searching for these two men in connection with the stabbing and robbing of a man in Elmhurst. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice January 23, 2024 QUEENS - Cops are looking for a smiling stabbing suspect who is part of a duo accused of slashing and robbing a man in Elmhurst.  At around 3:45 am on December 16, a 25-year-old man was walking in the vicinity of 93rd Street and Elmhurst Avenue, when two men walked up behind him. One of the men pulled out a sharp object and stabbed the victim in the shoulder.  As the victim staggered from the pain both men pounced. They forcibly removed the victim’s cell phone and wallet which contained cash and a debit card, cops said.  The victim was transported by EMS to Elmhurst Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.  The NYPD released surveillance  video in which one of the suspects was seen smiling. Chicken Joint Robbers Make Off with 8 Grand

Robbers Stickup Chicken Joint The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with the robbery of a chicken joint on Queens Boulevard. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice January 22, 2024 QUEENS - A pair of robbers, who claimed they had a gun, robbed a Queens chicken joint, the NYPD said.  At around 11:30 am on January 7, two men walked into a chicken joint on Queens Boulevard. Cops said the duo walked up to the 36-year-old female employee and demanded cash. One of the suspects simulated having a firearm in his hoodie and “pointed” it at the worker. The pair of robbers walked out of the restaurant with black safe box containing $8,000 in cash.  No injuries were reported. The crooks fled in a yellow 2008 Chevy Camaro.   Both suspects were captured on the store’s surveillance video. The first suspect is described as a male with a medium.
