Man Robbed on Subway Platform in Jackson Heights The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a robbery at a Queens subway station. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice December 18, 2023 QUEENS - A straphanger had his wallet containing $1,000 ripped from his hand while waiting for a train at the Jackson Heights subway station. At around 10:15 pm on December 9, a 21-year-old was standing on the subway platform for the E Train at the Roosevelt Avenue – Jackson Heights Station station. Cops said a man walked up to him grabbed the wallet out of the straphanger’s hands. The robber ran off. Cops said the wallet contained the victim’s debit card and $1,000 cash. The suspect is described as a male with a light complexion and a slim build. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark colored pants and dark colored sneakers.
