The suspect had been at large for years but was picked up last month when an officer arrested him for vaping on a Brooklyn subway, the Queens DA announced.  Luis Hernandez, 36, of Maspeth, Queens, was charged today with murder and gang assault in the 2020 fatal stabbing in Astoria. Hernandez faces up to 75 years to life in prison if convicted.
