Cops said the suspect broke into the building's garage and stole cash and items from tenats' cars. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice March 25, 2024 QUEENS - Cops are looking for a crook who hid in the bushes before breaking into the garage to an apartment building in Queens.  The NYPD released surveillance footage of a suspect seen crouching in the foliage outside an apartment building at 52-40 39th Drive last month.  At around 12:30 am on February 19, the suspect pried open the door to the building’s parking garage for the tenants. Once inside, the crook broke into several cars removing cash and items inside the vehicles.  The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.  It is unknown how much cash and valuables the crook took.
