Cops Quest for Burglars Focusing on High End Victims   After making one arrest, police are searching for at least two other muggers who robbed people in three attacks. Cops said during the last robbery, the suspects drove off in a gray Mercedes. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  October 25, 2023 QUEENS - A threesome of muggers who targeted wealthy victims were so high end that they drove a Mercedes as a getaway car, cops said. The NYPD reported the capture of one suspect in the trio of muggings that got more than $100,000 worth of stolen items. Police captured 20-year-old Jianwei Chen who was accused of burglary. Specialists are requesting the public's assistance in getting the two different suspects who struck multiple times in as numerous months. Chain Snatched - Moped Riding Thieves Target Women

Police are searching for two men on a black moped who snatched chains off women's necks in Queens. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  October 23, 2023 QUEENS - Police are searching for a pair of moped riding chain snatchers who struck twice in one day in Queens.  At around 4:20 pm on September 14, a 41-year-old woman was walking across the street from 61-50 Central Avenue in Ridgewood. Cops said two men riding on a black moped rode up behind the woman and ripped the chain off her neck. Before the woman even knew what happened, the chain snatchers rode off.  The woman sustained “substantial pain and bruising” but refused medical attention at the scene.  Cops said the stolen pendant is valued at $200.  Two hours later, the same crew struck again but this time they robbed a woman inside a car.  At around 6:50 pm, a 20-year-old woman was sitting in the driver’s seat of a car parked on the street.  Cops said the same crew pulled up. Home Invaders Make Off with 90 Grand in Jewelry  Police are searching for these two men in connection with an assault during a home invasion. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice October 21, 2023  NEW YORK - A Queens home owner was pistol whipped by a pair of home invaders who stole a safe full of jewelry valued at $90,000, cops said.  At around 12:40 am on October 19, a home owner woke to hear men breaking into his house in the vicinity of 243 Street & 140th Avenue near JFK Airport.
