Police arrested 66-year-old Ricky Wilson of Brooklyn. He was charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon. At around 1 am on February 17, a 31-year-old man was standing on the platform at Queens Plaza Subway Station. Cops said an unknown male approached the straphanger and started arguing with him. The man walked off. Cops said the man came back with a metal pipe and repeatedly struck the straphanger in the head with the pipe. The attacker fled the scene and out of the station on foot. EMS rushed the victim to Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center where he was treated for lacerations about the head. He is listed in stable condition.
