Passenger Injured as Driver Gets Shot EMS transports a stretcher over to one of the victims of the shooting which left a moped driver wounded and his passenger thrown off the bike. -Citizen By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice April 16, 2024 QUEENS - A passenger was thrown off a moving moped when the driver was shot during a wild shooting in Far Rockaway, cops said. At around 10:30 pm on April 13, a man was driving a moped with a female passenger in the vicinity of Redfern Avenue and Hassock Street. Cops said a gunman opened fire on the moped striking the driver in the torso. The female passenger fell off and scraped along the pavement. The gunman ran off in an unknown direction. Cops flooded the area following the shooting captured on Citizen App. The gunshot victim and the passenger where taken to Jamaica Hospital. Cops said the driver of the moped and the gunman knew each other but no motive for the shooting has been revealed. Anyone with information in regard to thi
