Fugitive Son Arrested in Florida Subscribe in a reader A fugitive on the run in Florida has been returned to New York to face murder charges. The suspect and his mother have been charged in the murder of a Queens man over $350 in car repiars.  Raymond Jackson, 22, has been extradicted to New York and faces murder charges. Jackson has been on the run since September in connection with the shooting death of a Queens man.  Jackson’s mother had been charged for her alledged part in the murder after she was arrested during a traffic stop. Prosecutors believe they recovered the murder weapon from inside the car she was driving. District Attorney Melinda Katz said, “This mother and son duo allegedly teamed up to kill a man. Subscribe in a reader By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  December 14, 2020  A deranged attacker punched an elderly woman in the face causing her to fall and break her hip in an unprovoked attack, the NYPD says.  Police are searching for the woman who punched an 86-year-old in the face during what is being described as a random attack.  The NYPD says a woman carrying a bucket hit an 86-year-old woman in the face in an unprovoked attack. At around 10:30 am on November 11, the elderly woman was standing outside the Post Office at 229-01 Linden Boulevard in Cambria Heights when she was approached by a woman. Without warning she punched the 86-year-old in the face. The victim fell to the pavement fracturing her hip.  The senior was rushed to Franklin Hospital Medical Center where she is listed in stable condition.   The attacker fled on foot. Shocking video of the woman ’s body being dumped was captured on a traffic camera. Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced that 30-year-old Goey Charles has been indicted by a grand jury and was arraigned in Supreme Court on murder charges in the October death of his pregnant girlfriend. Katz said, “The defendant is accused of committing a despicable, irreparable act of domestic violence – killing the young woman who was to be the mother of his child, dragging her limp body from a car and then abandoning her body alongside a road. Airport Employee Pled Guilty to Using Cell Phone in Bathroom Stalls File Photo Subscribe in a reader Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz announced that Samuel Rodriguez, 39, was sentenced to six months in jail after pleading guilty to using his cell phone to secretly record “pretty girls” using a public restroom at LaGuardia Airport where he worked in December 2018.  District Attorney Katz said, “In pleading guilty, this defendant admitted to preying on unwitting individuals by setting up his phone to record women using the bathroom. He turned an airport restroom into his own personal peep show. This is unconscionable and as a result of his actions the defendant is going to jail.”  Rodriguez, of College Point, pleaded guilty in September to unlawful surveillance in the second degree.  Acting Queens Supreme Court Justice Gia Morris today sentenced the defendant to six months in jail to be followed by ten years’ post release supervision.
