At around 3:30 am on December 29, a man wearing a “South Park” sweatshirt walked into Wild Onion Restaurant and Lounge, at 119-10 Merrick Blvd. Cops said the suspect saw a 39-year-old man inside the restaurant and pulled out a handgun. The gunman fired off multiple rounds and struck the victim in the shoulder and torso several times. The gunman then ran out of the restaurant and was last seen fleeing south on Merrick Boulevard.
