Female Cut Up During Argument  The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with the slashing of a woman in Flushing. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice February 27, 2024 QUEENS - Cops are looking for the man who cut up a woman’s hand and torso in Flushing.  At around 11:30 pm on February 24, a 32-year-old woman was outside a pharmacy at 37-64 90 Street in Flushing. Cops said the woman got into an argument with a man on the street.   According to the NYPD, the man pulled out a sharp object and slashed the woman on the hand and her torso. He then ran away in an unknown direction.  EMS rushed the victim to NYC Health and Hospitals/Elmhurst where she was treated and was listed in stable condition.  The NYPD released surveillance of the suspect who is described as a male with a medium complexion and a medium build. Search for Woman Who Slashed Queens Cabbie  The NYPD is searching for a woman in connection with the slashing of a cabbie in Queens. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice February 26, 2024 QUEENS - Cops are looking for the female passenger who slashed a Queens cabbie stopped outside a church.  At around 2 am on February 11, a cabbie drove his car in Elmhurst to a stop outside a church at 89-00 23 Avenue. Cops said when the cabbie asked for payment, his female passenger pulled out a knife and slashed the driver in the neck, causing severe bleeding.   The slasher then jumped out of the cab and ran eastbound on 23 Avenue.   EMS rushed the cabbie to NYC Health + Hospitals/Elmhurst where he was treated and is listed in stable condition.  The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect who is described as a female with a light complexion with long dark hair or possibly a wig. Cops Looking for Perv Who Molested Teen at Subway Station The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with the sexual assault on a teenage girl at a Queens subway station. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice February 24, 2024 QUEENS - Cops are looking for a man who sexually assaulted a teenage girl on the platform of a Queens subway station. At around 8:40 pm on February 9, a 15-year-old girl was standing on the northbound platform of the Halsey Street station. Cops said a man walked up to the teen and knocked her for the ground. Investigators said the attacker picked the girl up and forcibly kissed her. At the same time he groped the teen over her clothing. Cops said after sexually assaulting the girl, he forcibly took her cell phone and fled the station. The suspect is described as a male with a dark complexion, curly hair and facial hair. Trio Robs 2 Stores in 15 Minutes The NYPD is searching for these three men in connection with two robberies in Queens. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice February 21, 2024 QUEENS - Cops are looking for a trio of stickup men who tried to knock over a smoke shop and then a flooring store all within the space of 15 minutes. At around 11 pm on February 18, three men were caught on surveillance video walking into a smoke shop at 30-07 39 Avenue. Cops said the three men simulated having guns and tried to gain access to behind the counter. When they couldn’t the trio left empty handed.  Cops said the same crew struck again 15 minutes later on Roosevelt Avenue. The crew walked into a flooring store and simulated having handguns. They forced their way behind the counter and removed $1,000 from the cash register. The suspect had been at large for years but was picked up last month when an officer arrested him for vaping on a Brooklyn subway, the Queens DA announced.  Luis Hernandez, 36, of Maspeth, Queens, was charged today with murder and gang assault in the 2020 fatal stabbing in Astoria. Hernandez faces up to 75 years to life in prison if convicted. At around 11:40 am on February 15, a 70-year-old man was standing near the emergency exit gate at the Jackson Heights – Roosevelt Avenue subway station. Cops said without warning another man walked up behind the senior and pushed him to the ground.  The suspect walked out of the station. The victim was treated for cuts and bruises at the scene.
