Attacker Spits, Punches 71-Year-Old Man The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a random attack on a 71-year-old man getting off a bus in Queens. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice April 17, 2024 QUEENS - An elderly man was slugged in the face coming off a Queens bus in what appears to be another random attack, cops said.  At around 8:30 am on April 9, a 71-year-old man was exiting a Q64 bus on the corner of 108 Street and Queens Boulevard. Cops said an unknown man walked up to the elderly bus rider and started arguing with him.

3 Suspects Punch, Stab Man During Line Dispute The NYPD is searching for these three men in connection with the stabbing of a man with a broken bottle. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice  April 16, 2024  QUEEN S - A dispute over being bumped on line led to a near fatal attack when three men punched and stabbed the victim with a broken bottle, cops said. At around 4:45 am on April 7, a 20-year-old male was on line inside a business near 210-08 Jamaica Avenue when another man bumped into him. The victim and the aggressor got into a verbal dispute that quickly escalated.  Cops said two of the suspect’s friends jumped in and started punching the victim. One of the attackers took a broken bottle and stabbed the victim in the abdomen and slashed his left arm and right wrist, cops said. Passenger Injured as Driver Gets Shot EMS transports a stretcher over to one of the victims of the shooting which left a moped driver wounded and his passenger thrown off the bike. -Citizen By Dan Gesslein Queens Voice April 16, 2024 QUEENS - A passenger was thrown off a moving moped when the driver was shot during a wild shooting in Far Rockaway, cops said.  At around 10:30 pm on April 13, a man was driving a moped with a female passenger in the vicinity of Redfern Avenue and Hassock Street. Cops said a gunman opened fire on the moped striking the driver in the torso. The female passenger fell off and scraped along the pavement.  The gunman ran off in an unknown direction. Cops flooded the area following the shooting captured on Citizen App.  The gunshot victim and the passenger where taken to Jamaica Hospital. Knocked to the Ground During Robbery The NYPD is searching for this man in connection with a violent purse snatching in Queens. -Photo by NYPD By Dan Gesslein  Queens Voice April 12, 2024 QUEENS - A Queens woman was choked and knocked to the ground during an early morning purse snatching attempt, cops said. At around 6:20 am on April 8, a 62-year-old woman was walking on Hampton Street. Cops said a man ran up behind her and grabbed the woman by the neck. He then dragged her to the ground and tried to yank her purse away but was unable. The attacker ran away on Hampton Street empty-handed, cops said. The victim refused medical treatment at the scene. The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect. He is described as a male in his 20s who has a light complexion. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, red pants, and white sneakers. The punch knocked the woman down the stone staircase of the church and left her in critical condition, cops said.  The NYPD announced the arrest of a 16-year-old male in connection with the April 7th attack. The teen was charged with robbery, assault, grand larceny and criminal possession of a weapon.  At around 8:30 am on April 7, a 68-year-old woman was standing at the doors to the Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. Cops said a man walked up to the woman at the top of the staircase and then sucker punched her in the face. The blow caused the woman to fall backwards down the stone steps.  As the victi
